Our Home Addition Process

At our company, we understand that a home addition can be a big undertaking. That’s why our team of experts is here to guide you through every step of the process. From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, we’ll work with you to create a design that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations. Our goal is to create a space that is both functional and beautiful, and that reflects your personal style.

Discovery Phone Call

We’ll begin the process with a short 5-15 minute conversation about your goals for remodeling or building. During this meeting, we’ll ask important questions about your space and your vision for it. If we are a good fit for each other, we’ll schedule a free in-home consultation so we can have a more in-depth discussion.

On-Site Consultation

We’ll come out to the site to begin discussing new construction solutions, and you’ll meet the contractor team. During this stage, we’ll discuss the budget and initial price ranges, which will become more fleshed out as we proceed with the new housing plans.

Plans & Permits

You will have the opportunity to meet with our team of skilled architects to select the individual who aligns most closely with your vision and requirements. Following this, we will meticulously develop your architectural and structural plans with our engineer. Additionally, we will handle all necessary paperwork, including engineering documents, city permits, and HOA approvals, ensuring a comprehensive and hassle-free process for you

Contract Signing

Once we have your finalize plans for your new construction project, it’s time to sign the contract for your new construction home. You’ll also receive a final price at this stage. There are two contracts that we use: scope of work and legal contract.

Breaking Ground & Building

We begin building! The average time for home addition services ranges from 4 to 6 months. The entire process (from the time you sign the contract to when we hand over the keys) spans about 6 to 8 months.

Finishing Touches & Approval

When the majority of the construction is done, we will walk through it with you and create a “touch-up” list that documents any items that are incomplete or unsatisfactory. Once this list is compiled, the touch-up crew will go through and take care of every item on the list to your satisfaction. The final newly remodeled space always makes the process worthwhile!
